2 Simple Diet Plans to Follow After the Holidays

You know what they say “It’s the holiday season. Let the overeating begin!” For good or bad, holidays are over and working days are back again. After all the festive days around Christmas and New Year we definitely need to do something for our diet, don’t you think? In case you’re an enthusiast about getting rid of the extra weight, here’s 2 diet plans you could easily follow:
  1. 7-day Diet
This diet can save you from up to 4 kilos a week. Keep in mind that the menu for all seven days stays the same.
  • Breakfast (8:00) – Start the day with a cup of tea or coffee, if you prefer, together with a cheese toast. Make sure the bread is no more than 25g and the cheese – about 15-20g.
  • Brunch (11:00) – Grab a fruit you like. Apples, oranges and tangerines are great for this season. If you feel like it’s not enough, you could have a cup of green tea.
  • Lunch (13:00) – Start with a veggie soup and then, if you like, you can have a piece of meat (fish or bird) with 120g of vegetables. Make sure to cook with no grease, though.
  • Afternoon snack (16:00) – Take 50g of low fat cottage cheese and a cup of tea.
  • Dinner (19:00) – Eat 2 boiled eggs and a piece of bread plus a carrot salad. Try seasoning the salad with high quality extra virgin olive oil to make it even better.
  • Before bed have a glass of fat-free yoghurt.
  1. After-holiday detoxifying diet
We’re up for the classics! There’s nothing special about this one, because after all what’s better than some veggies, huh? This diet is based on all kinds of vegetables. This includes carrots, cabbage, zucchini, broccoli, pumpkin, potatoes, you name it. The best thing about it is that vegetables can help you throw the toxins away from your body. Normally, during the holidays people gain weight very fast and struggle to get back into normal.
