What comes up in your mind when you think of Greece? We bet it’s olives, olive oil, seafood and Ouzo. Although you’re right, this Mediterranean country has a lot more to surprise with!   1. What would Greece be without olives and their oil?! In the past, people even used to call it “the Golden liquid” as it served as a beauty source, as medicine and as an irreplaceable culinary component.

  2. Herbs and Greece? Isn’t this the same? This nation is famous for its use of herbs in literally any form. Oregano, peppermint, garlic, onion, fennel, basil – it all smells like a Greek dish.
